Run WinClone 4 and make an image file from the Boot Camp to an image file to your desktop. Run Disk Utility and select your external drive, Choose the Partition tab, click the + below the main (only partition), select the space between the now two partitions and drag upp or down until lower parts size is at least a tad bigger than the. For example, Winclone will let you clone the Windows XP Boot Camp partition from a Mac Pro (which uses a Xeon-based processor) and then restore it to a MacBook Pro (which uses a Core Duo or Core 2. Launch Winclone, and your current Windows partition should appear in the Sources list. Imaging the Bootcamp Partition You are now ready to create an image of the Boot Camp partition. Select the Bootcamp partition.

I tried repairing it with Disk Utility, which did not work. I also ran DiskWarrior, which resulted in the error message: 'Directory cannot be rebuilt due to disk hardware failure'. I was able to copy my Apple files through DiskWarrior although there were a couple of errors.

My question is how to clone my Bootcamp Partition. Textual 7 1 4 nkjv. I tried making an image with Disk Utility but it failed. I also tried using Winclone and it failed indicating there were hard drive issues.


Is there another way to try to copy the Bootcamp partition? I can boot to Apple so running a program/app or trying UNIX commands might work.

ok, so you have xp/vista installed on your mac. after getting xp/64bit installed and everything working, i really don't want to risk having something wacky happen to the partition. well after doing some searching i found a pretty cool little app that can help clone your boot camp partition. its called winclone and its free!
